How to establish an Action Group

Action Groups consist of national programme owners/managers intending to set up and prepare trans-national funding activities within a specific research topic. An Action Group is set up on a specific research topic that has been endorsed by ERA-NET TRANSPORT partner countries. This can be done either by the outcome of the consultation following a workshop (pro-active approach), or by a bottom up initiative by one or more members of the ERA-NET TRANSPORT (responsive approach).

Every country has the freedom to choose whether it wants to participate in an Action Group following national priorities. New participants have the possibility to join an Action Group later on.

All Action Groups is lead by a programme manager/owner and supported by a person from the ERA-NET TRANSPORT consortium. The proposed outcome is a trans-national funding cooperation ranging from clustering of ongoing activities, a joint call to joint or integrated programming.
