ENT11: A Platform for driver support / intelligent vehicles

Status and results

The activities duplicate activities in SMART (FP6 programme). The Action Group have been put on hold in order to overlapping activities.

Key ideas and objectives

The main objective of the project is to produce recommendations for transport policy decision makers (ministries, the European Commission) concerning driver support systems:

  • actions that ministries and the Commission should start immediately and
  • future research at European, international, regional and national levels.

Secondary objective of the project is to create a procedure that could be used to other actual/interesting themes from transport policy point of view.
