Austria has established a continuously open transnational call for proposals. This initiative is based on experiences made in ENT.
This new instrument offers an earmarked budget for transnational projects only. Austrian researchers can participate in project teams related to current funding initiatives in other countries. Possible themes for cooperation cover the full thematically range of the Austrian IV2Splus programme (A3plus, I2V and ways2go). There are 2 deadlines for submitting proposals: the first will end on 6 October 2009 and the second deadline is 23 February 2010.
Note that this funding is available for Austrian resident research organisations and companies only. International partners are expected to be funded from national research programmes in their home country.
