Austria, France, Sweden, Switzerland and Norway are opening a joint call for research proposals on the issue of Intermodal Freight Transportation with a total budget of 2,3Mio.€. The idea behind this action is to strengthen the position of intermodal freight transportation in Europe by bundling resources and supplementing the knowledge pool of several national research arenas for technological innovations as well as new organisational structures.
This joint call relates to several national co-ordinated calls on the base of national programmes of the partner countries to provide funds for trans-national research projects.
Deadline for proposal submission: September 17, 2007, 12oclock noon (CET).
